Ayungon, Dauin high schools top National Achievement Tests in science

A public secondary school in the northern town of Ayungon, recently topped the National Achievement Tests (NAT) in the science learning areas across the country. The Negros Chronicle reported that Ayungon National High School garnered a Mean Percentage Score (MPS) of 97.30 percent.

The NAT is administered annually by the Department of Education (DepEd) to all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide which measures the competency and mastery level of students in English, Science and Mathematics.

Aside from Ayungon, Dauin Science High School further affirmed the province’s supremacy  with its 94.26 MPS making it fourth in the whole country in the same test, the report said further.

In response, the newly-installed Gov. Degamo acknowledged the efforts of the teachers in the province saying that this only proves that the province has the best teachers in the country and committed his utmost support to education development.

KUDOS to all NegOr Achievers!
