How to Help the Negros Earthquake Victims (Relief goods, volunteers needed)

Our kababayans in Negros Oriental, particularly in the Guhulngan City and the towns of La Liberta, Tayasan, Jimalalud, Ayungon and Bindoy are badly in need of relief goods (canned goods, drinking water, tents, sleeping bags, medicine ). Any help in cash, kind and or as volunteer will be greatly appreciated thru the following instrumentalities:

1. Silliman University

Silliman University appeals to our friends for support for our brothers and sisters in the badly hit municipalities of the province. Access to food and water supply is fast thinning out as the water system is down and stores have remained closed for fears in aftershocks. The University is willing to facilitate the receipt and distribution of your donations in the form of Food, Water and Cash

Cash is the most practical as it allows us to purchase items that are listed as most needed and assist the affected municipalities restore economic activity. For proper acknowledgement, cash donations may be sent through the Utzurrum Business and Finance Center either personally or via the following:

  1. Thank you for all your kindness….Just want to inform the public that whatsoever you’re donation in the said affected areas in NegOr, please … kindly give it directly to the victims, not to any Brgy Officials… Their were some relief goods stock at the Brgy Hall particularly in Brgy. Pzamora, I dont know what’s the plan of our Brgy Captian!!!
