GETTING THERE

By Plane

From Manila: Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines service the Manila/Dumaguete Route. The flight time from Manila to Dumaguete is about one hour.

From Cebu: Only Cebu Pacific services the Cebu/Dumaguete Route with a flight time of around 30-45 mins..

All aircraft lands on The Sibulan-Dumaguete Airport, which is located 3km, or an approximate 7-10 minutes ride from the city center. Various options are available for transportation to Dumaguete , from pedicabs, multicabs to vans and taxis. Many hotels and resorts provide free shuttle service to and from the airport.

By Sea

From Manila: There are two maritime companies servicing the route, WG&A Superferry and Negros Navigation, for overnight trips to/from Manila via Tagbilaran.

From Cebu: The Oceanjet company provides the quickest service, about a 3.5 hours trip via Tagbilaran. There are also two boats (GP and Cokaliong Lines) that runs nightly 5 hour trips to and from Dumaguete.

From Siquijor: The Oceanjet and Montenegro Ferry service the route daily for the half-hour in between the islands.

From Dapitan: Serviced by (George & Peter and Cokaliong) and Oceanjet daily.

By Land/Roro

From Manila: Ceres Liner plies the Manila-Zamboanga route on daily basis from Cubao (Quezon City) via the Strong Reoublic Nautical Highway or the Ro-Ro way. This way would take more than a day and will pass by  Mindoro, Iloilo and Bacolod.

From Bacolod: The Ceres Liner cris-cross Oriental Negros everyday with trips to Dumaguete with 30 min interval per trip,the first trip at 3:10 AM and the last trip at 7 PM.

From Cebu: The Ceres Liner offers 5 hr. airconditioned trips from Cebu to Dumaguete crossing the Tanon Strait via a barge from Bato (Cebu) to Tampi (Amlan-25 mins. from Dumaguete City) .
